Our Story: Meet Kimberly
In 2020, my mom Kimberly was diagnosed with breast cancer, and by 20
21, she was in remission and opening a women’s clothing store.
Wild Phoenix Boutique is more than just a clothing store; it is a reflection of my mom’s strength, and an extension of her heart. By opening Wild Phoenix Boutique in 2021, she taught my three siblings and I how to rise from the ashes and dance in the fire. The phoenix symbolizes renewal and hope during difficult times; hence, Wild “Phoenix” Boutique.
Known for her contagious smile and kind spirit, every customer who entered the store became my mom’s best friend. Wild Phoenix Boutique became a beacon of amiability and warmth. When the cancer relapsed, I took on a supportive role, managing the boutique’s daily operations while my mom underwent treatment. My mom lost her battle to breast cancer on July 6th, 2022. I stepped into the role as owner at 20 years old, and every decision I’ve made has been guided by the core values my mom has instilled in me: a commitment to treating others with kindness, a deep sense of community, and a love for coastal fashion.
